Nepotism War: After Ananya Panday, Debutante Alaya F Shares Her Thoughts On The Dangerous Topic
While Ananya Panday got trolled on social media for her thoughts on nepotism, Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaya F said that they are privileged and outsider’s struggle is greater than the star kids’. Alaya will soon be seen with Saif Ali Khan and Tabu starrer Jawaani Jaaneman
The debate on Nepotism doesn’t seem to end any time soon. We have often seen star kids, who have or are gearing up for their Bollywood debuts, sharing their stance on the nepotism debate. Like recently, when Chunky Panday’s daughter Ananya Panday had shared her story of struggle days before she made her debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2, she got trolled to a great degree. She even received a savage reply from Gully Boy’s MC Sher aka Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Now, we have another star kid making her debut with Saif Ali Khan and Tabu led Jawaani Jaaneman. It’s Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaya F, who has now given her opinion on nepotism. While speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Alaya said, “We need to realise that even in our struggle, we are privileged. If we got rejected in 10 auditions, someone else has got the thumbs down 100 times. Their struggle is greater than ours. But just because I’m privileged, doesn’t mean that I’m not going to do what I love and work hard at it.” Okay then! Earlier on Rajeev Masand’s Round Table interview, when Ananya was asked about nepotism she had said, “Everyone says that it’s all glamorous and I’ve gotten everything that I wanted. But I’m very grateful that I’m my Dad’s daughter and I wouldn’t want it any other way. When people hate on me for nepotism, I’m not going to shy away from that I’m Chunky Pandey’s daughter. Just because my Dad is an actor I’m not gonna say no to a film. My Dad never did a Dharma film, my Dad never went on Koffee with Karan. It isn’t as easy people say it is. Everyone has their own journey.”
It was then Siddhant’s mic drop one-liner to the actress which made him the hero. Sitting next to Ananya, MC Sher had said, “Everyone has their own struggle. But difference yahi hai ki jahan hamare sapne poore hotein hai, wahan inka struggle shuru hota hai.”
